Last week, AvantiCell ESR Alessandra Prinelli attended the PANDORA Annual Meeting and Final Workshop at Paris-Lodron Universität, Salzburg in Austria.
The PANDORA group took part in 'Transferrable Skills Training' which included courses in communicating science, risk communication, strategies in case of crises, website production and interview training. The training was taken by Verena Nowotny of Gaisberg Consulting, Austria and Michael Mair, a freelance journalist and presenter in Austria.
Additionally to the training, the Annual Meeting allowed all partners to discuss the recent developments in the project and plan the final steps before the project concludes later this year.
Alessandra provided an update on her project which aims to build immune cell models for nanotoxicity testing. Alessandra has worked incredibly hard and the project has been a great success so far, with new cell products arising from her work and set to be launched very soon!
