Following cell attachment and outgrowth, cellular differentiation can be initiated by addition of lactogenic hormones, with induction of lactation-specific gene expression. Avanticell’s biomaterials’ technology can extend culture lifespan and differentiative potential. Avanticell culture systems are suitable for biomaterials evaluation, and can be applied in R&D for cell scaffold design or tissue engineering.
