Biomaterials testing:
We are experienced in the assessment of a range of biomaterials for enhancement of primary cell culture performance. Our current R&D focus includes choice of polymer, fibre size, pore size, porosity, biocompatibility and matrix structure for the generation of three-dimensional cell cultures applicable in medium-throughput systems.

Cryopreservation:
AvantiCell is involved in research and development of new methodologies for cell cryo-preservation through application of proprietary molecular tools.

Medium formulation:
Our extensive knowledge of primary cell culture has led to the development and validation of specialised media formulations for culturing primary cells.
