Customised Assays Using Immortalised Cells  

Advances in technology for primary cell immortalisation has progressively realised cell lines which reproduce more faithfully the performance of the original cell type. Assays based on immortalised primary cells offer convenience in cell propagation and banking, and therefore consistency of cell source, whilst retaining the differentiated phenotype of the primary source. AvantiCell accesses a number of immortalised cell lines of both human and animal origin to offer unique cell-based assays delivering a meaningful and reproducible alternative to primary cell-based analysis.
